    • Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm

    • Friday: 9am - 4pm

    • Saturday: 10am - 2pm

    • All orders require a 50% deposit to be made prior to the start of crafting your order.

    • The deposit covers all materials required to begin crafting your order.

    • Orders will only be cleared for building once the deposit has been paid.

    • In the case of being placed on a waiting list, you are NOT subject to paying a deposit until your order is next on the list. HOWEVER, all deposit conditions stated above apply when your order is next on the list.

    • The remaining balance due on your order must be paid IN FULL upon completion and delivery of your order.

    • Payments must be made via EFT, with banking details found on the invoice sent to you OR via cash payment.

    • All orders are available for pick-up and delivery.

    • No additional fee will be charged on orders for pick-up from the Wooden Brain Woodworks workshop.

    • An additional delivery fee will be charged subject to the specific location of delivery. See fee details below:

      5km and below: R50

      10km-15km: R100

      15km and above: R150

  • Wooden Brain Woodworks only uses ultra-high quality, locally and or sustainably sourced hardwoods from a wide range of suppliers. Therefore, all wood species chosen for your order are subject to availability. However, in the rare case your desired wood species is unavailable, Wooden Brain Woodworks will either ask your approval to find the next best and most appropriate replacement for your order or indicate to you when the required wood species will next be available.

The Philosophy of Wooden Brain Woodworks

My love and ever burning passion for furniture making began in an incredibly difficult time of my life, so I decided to embark on my journey into adulthood by creating Wooden Brain Woodworks.

With it becoming my full-time job and profession, I am eternally grateful to be able to do what I do and will forever strive to make the business the best version of what it must be as it grows and develops alongside me as an individual.

The reason I named the business Wooden Brain Woodworks is because it serves as a constant reminder of how one should maintain their mind, like a tree or the wood it yields- with a sense of strength, longevity, perseverance, patience and grace. The name serves as the placeholder of memories, whether they are ones of struggle or ease. Furniture happens to serve the role of that same placeholder too: storing memories, energy, personality and windows into previous lives as the pieces get passed down from generation to generation.

This notion of generational life, stored and felt through the furniture I make, is the philosophy Wooden Brain Woodworks is based on. In every piece of furniture I make, there is a transfer of energy from me to you, that reminds you of what life is about and what is important to us.

The meticulous thought, extended time and unwavering effort I put into the furniture are the reminders of how we should treat others, live our lives, and enjoy it too.
